Vanspauwen, Daemen & Finoulst (Chamber Music Jazz, traditional, modern)

Double bassist Rob Vanspauwen unites two kindred spirits, saxophonist Daniël Daemen and guitarist Tim Finoulst, in a trio that thrives on a shared love for sound, improvisation, and the art of listening. What binds them together is not only years of playing side by side, but also a deep musical friendship that brings warmth and trust into every note they share. Their dialogue on stage feels both spontaneous and refined — a constant search for beauty, balance, and simplicity.

The trio moves with ease between intimacy and intensity, weaving an open, modern sound that resonates somewhere between jazz and chamber music. Their repertoire is a delicate blend of original compositions, fresh interpretations of timeless favorites, and powerful works of their own making. Subtle hints of classical influence occasionally color their music, enriching it with depth and elegance without ever losing its sense of freedom.

The Desmond Legacy (Jazz)

Het Desmond Legacy brengt een eerbetoon aan de legendarische Paul Desmond, saxofonist van The Dave Brubeck Quartet en componist van de iconische hit ‘Take Five’! Dit jaar, 100 jaar na zijn geboorte, brengen we zijn muziek opnieuw tot leven met een frisse, hedendaagse twist. Met Jorre Reynders(sax) en Andy Willems(piano).
